The Rave-Ups appeared in an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 titled "Spring Dance" which originally aired on May 2, 1991. Jimmer and crew were the spring dance band, and performed tracks from "Chance" including "She Says (Come Around)", "The Best I Can't", "Respectfully King of Rain" (all we heard was the intro), and "Smile" was performed twice.

There was one other track they performed during the dance contest which I can't place. I've gone through both Epic albums, but I don't think it's there...I think it's an unreleased track. Here is a RealAudio sample (227KB, 1:27). If you know the name and source of this track, let me know. Thanks!

Here are some screen grabs from the 90210 appearance:

Something happened when the dream came   I never had this dream, how about you?

and if fate could box your baby's smile   I think it would turn your world around

and I'm too old, too young to lose, come around   you don't know how desperate I am

take a look around I'm a family man   Your applause after this next song will determine tonight's winning dancers
